Many young people we speak to hear insults on a daily basis when they are in school or socially. Whatever age you are being called names or insulted can have an effect on your wellbeing.

3. Sexual Bullying

3.1. (Ferhat)Sexual bullying is a serious issue that needs to be tackled. Although there is no official definition, sexual bullying is a behaviour, physical or non-physical, where sexuality or gender is used as a weapon against another. Sexual bullying is any behaviour which degrades someone, singles someone out by the use of sexual language, gestures or violence, and victimising someone for their appearance. Sexual bullying is also pressure to act promiscuously and to act in a way that makes others uncomfortable.

4.1. (Antonino)Physical bullying includes hitting, kicking, tripping, pinching and pushing or damaging property. Physical bullying causes both short term and long term damage.

5.1. (Daniela) Relational aggression or alternative aggression is a type of aggression in which harm is caused by damaging someone's relationships or social status. Although it can be used in many contexts and among different age groups, relational aggression among adolescents in particular, has received a lot of attention.

6. Prejudicial Bullying - Uprzedzenia względem innych (PL)

6.1. (Hasan)Prejudicial bullying arises from a misguided or learned belief that certain groups of people deserve to be treated differently or with less respect. When prejudicial bullying occurs, kids are targeting others who are different from them and singling them out. Often times, this type of bullying is severe and can open the door to hate crimes.

7. Racist Bullying

7.1. (Carmen-Ionela) racist bullying is still an issue in schools. Racist bullying singles out people because of skin color, race or ethnic background. Some children are bullied because they are African-American, Chinese, Jewish, Italian, or Spanish. Even Caucasian children can be bullied for being white.

More than a third of people go on to develop Social Anxiety and Depression as a direct result of bullying. 8. Almost a quarter of those who have been bullied have had suicidal thoughts.
